Gothic Lolita Handmade Card

I made this red and black gothic lolita aka gosu rori (ゴスロリ) card a friend I recently made on Facebook. I have a free handmade card project going on, where I make and send one or two handmade cards for free. I'm glad my new friend, Sheena loves the card!

I used Kaiser's clear stamp for the musical note background on red card stock. Love, love the stamp! I also used my handmade hat pins for this card. :)

Supplies:
Cardstock - generic brand
Clear stamp - Kaiser's music sheet, Basic Grey
Ink - ColorBox
Pearls - stash
Ribbon - stash
Hat pins - handmade

Loving You Each Day of Spring

When I made this card, I had some Easter colours in mind. It's a lovey dovey card, which I seem to make more of, but I think it can still be sent as an Easter or spring card.

Anyway, I don't have a butterfly punch, so I stamped some butterflies on a pink card and trimmed the shapes to make the fluttery creatures as my card embellishments.

You might notice that I love flowers. I do! I love them on my cards, but I'm not good at making them myself. Hope you like the card! :)

Supplies:
Cardstock - generic brand
Pattern paper - stash
Die cut scallop circle and circle paper - stash, bought on Ebay
Clear stamp - Basic Grey delta series
Punch - EK Success Paper Shaper CornerAdorner (medium)
Flowers - Prima Marketing
Ink - ColorBox
Brads - Making Memories
Jewels, button - stash

Pink and Red Love

I don't know why but the colour red seems to attract me lately. As you can see, this card is in red and pink, which is a little outside my comfort zone. Anyway, I had fun making this card. I spent less than 30 minutes matching the pattern papers and putting everything together.

Handmade flower embellishment

Using a pair of scissors, I cut a doily shape out of a pattern paper by Crate Paper, from the Restoration Collection. I also cut a scallop circle into hearts, and arranged them to form a flower, with a button on its centre. Hope that the flower counts as a handmade embellishment.

Supplies:
Cardstock - generic brand
Pattern paper - Bo Bunny Press by Jan Lanoy (Candy Stripes back-to-back 12x12), Crate Paper (Restoration Collection 6x6)
ATC paper - Leisure Arts (Love)
Punch - EK Success edger punch (double crochet lace), EK Success Paper Shaper CornerAdorner
Flowers - Prima Marketing

Jewels, button - stash

Sweet Love

Here's my second card for today! Oh well, it's a Sunday, and therefore, I had plenty of time to craft. I know Valentine's Day is not until next year, but I just can't resist making a lovey dovey card. I think this card can be a Mother's Day or a birthday card too.

I am so not good at tying bows, though. I will watch some YouTube videos on how to tie the perfect bow. I used a small wooden peg with a red heart to clip the bow to keep it in place. The wooden peg comes in a pack, received from a friend, Ida. Thanks Ida!

Hope you like the card!

Supplies:
Cardstock - generic brand
Pattern paper - Basic Grey (Green at Heart), Crate Paper (Snow Day)
ATC paper - Leisure Art (Contemporary)
Punch - EK Success edger punch (open scallop)
Ink - ColorBox
Jewels, wooden peg, ribbon - stash

Sugar Love

I think I'm addicted to cardmaking, which is a good thing. Anyway, made this card today. I'm not a huge fan of the colour pink, but I love the combination of bright red, pink and white on this card.

I used the American Crafts I Heart You Bubushka designer paper received from my friend, Dhiya last year. I almost couldn't bring myself to use the paper because it's very pretty. It has glitter all over, so it's very sparkly. Love it!

I hope you like the card as much as I do. Happy Sunday!

Supplies:
Cardstock - generic brand
Pattern paper - S.E.I. Twitterpated (Xoxo), American Crafts (I Heart You - Bubushka)
Clear stamp - Basic Grey Delta Series, Rubber Soul Wedding 2007
Punch - EK Success Paper Shapers CornerAdorner (Medium)

Colourful Spring-themed Card

I made two cards tonight. Yay! The first card is an all-ocassion card, and I love that it's colourful and has this Easter and Spring feel to it. The second card will be in my next post.

The sentiment says "One touch of nature makes the whole world kin" by William Shakespeare. Instead of explaining about the supplies I used, I will list them down at the end of this post.

I really enjoyed making this card! I seldom enjoy making cards that are very colourful, but joining the challenges gives me some kind of motivation to make more cards. The challenges are so much fun! I hope you will like it!

Supplies:
Cardstock, ribbons - unbranded
Pattern paper, brad - unknown, received in a swap
Ink - black pigment from ColorBox
Sentiment - clear stamp from Autumn Leaves Stampology (Natural Greetings)
Flower - Prima
Punch - EK Success edger punch (open scallop)

Pink Handmade Card - You're My Sugar High

Yay! I'm so happy because I finally made a card that's prettier than my previous card. *big grin* Presenting, You're My Sugar High!

pink-card-you're-my-sugar-high
It's pretty straightforward and simple. The only thing that's different here is I used one of the products available on Crafty Heart, which is Doodlebug Design Inc. Candy Shoppe Ladybug Mini Rub-Ons for the phrase "Love is sweet like candy...". You can get the rub-ons for only RM11.50.

The photo doesn't do justice to the actual card, which is lighter in colour and looks sweeter. I hope you like it! I personally love it! Told ya I love hot pink! :)

Thinking Of You Card For My Sis

Here's the card I made for my sis, Bell to accompany the fabric bag that I bought for her. I'll be sending the bag along with a gift for my mom, my dad and Jojo. :) I don't really enjoy stamping, but the stamped sentiment looks nice here. I used apple green ink to match the colour of the base card. Hope you like it!
