Pink and Red Love

I don't know why but the colour red seems to attract me lately. As you can see, this card is in red and pink, which is a little outside my comfort zone. Anyway, I had fun making this card. I spent less than 30 minutes matching the pattern papers and putting everything together.

Handmade flower embellishment

Using a pair of scissors, I cut a doily shape out of a pattern paper by Crate Paper, from the Restoration Collection. I also cut a scallop circle into hearts, and arranged them to form a flower, with a button on its centre. Hope that the flower counts as a handmade embellishment.

Supplies:
Cardstock - generic brand
Pattern paper - Bo Bunny Press by Jan Lanoy (Candy Stripes back-to-back 12x12), Crate Paper (Restoration Collection 6x6)
ATC paper - Leisure Arts (Love)
Punch - EK Success edger punch (double crochet lace), EK Success Paper Shaper CornerAdorner
Flowers - Prima Marketing
Brad - Making Memories
Jewels, button - stash
