Tip - Stamped Brown Gift Wrapping Paper

C and his colleagues are having mystery Christmas gift exchange. Everyone will have to prepare a gift for someone, but you won't know who your gift will be from until you open it.

Anyway, C went out earlier today and bought a book as the Christmas gift. I wrapped it for him, but instead of using plain brown paper and cotton string like what I showed in my previous post, I stamped sentiments all over the brown paper using red and green inks.

Then, I wrapped the book using the stamped brown paper and used cellophane tape to secure it. I also used red satin ribbon to tie the gift as the finishing touch.

This is a great, inexpensive way to wrap gifts, especially for last minute gifts and you don't have any wrapping papers around. It's also an excellent way to personalise your gifts, as you can stamp personalised  or customised sentiments too.

Perhaps you can try it this Christmas and let me know what you think! Happy wrapping! :)
