Feeling Chatty

I really love crafting, but I hate it when my phone rings and I have to answer it especially when I am measuring my card stock to get that perfect square shape or have glitters all over my hand. It is worse when the person calling is someone I am trying to ignore.

However, I find that talking to strangers is fun. Please don’t get the wrong idea. I don’t talk to strangers in real life, only on the phone. I mean, I used to do that with friends I know online. Haven’t you tried it before? I used to like it, particularly if it’s a free chat, which means that the person is paying for the phone call and not me. Don’t have any weird ideas okay? Adult chat is a no-no for me and I cannot imagine anyone doing that! I wish phone calls are cheaper and I wish there’s a service that offers free chat lines. If the person at the other end is interesting, I can chat for hours!

If you want to talk to that interesting online friend you just knew, make sure you take safety precautions. Don’t tell him anything about yourself, especially your real name, where you live or work and other private particulars. Of course, you have to tell him your phone number, but if possible, use a separate number that you don't use often. Better be safe than sorry!

  1. i use to entertain calls from anonymous callers back in my schooldays, most of them are schoolmates or students from other schools. but not anymore, moreover, i don't like bergayut on the phone anymore. i prefer sms or online chat.

  8. Hey Marzie! Time busy la the phone starts ringing kan? Hehe..at least u know where ur phone is. Last time, my uni friend "lost" her phone in her own room! Dahla it was on silent mode, not vibrating pulak tu! Want to call pun no point! Wanna know where we found it? :):)

Atas almari, like at the top of the tall cupboard! Klakar giler dia tu, pelupa sampai mcm tu.

  9. hi debbie! not only ur friend....me sometimes like that jugak. when talking on the phone, my hand selalu gatal buat benda lain, kuis2 benda atas meja or doodle...or even berjalan2 dlm rumah or ofis. then when i remember i need to do something, i juz put the phone at the nearest, reachable places...on top of cupboard is not impossible, you know! not only phone, other things also!

i realize i'm having this problem since kid, but i can't help it. most of the time i'm unaware that i selit2 benda kat mana2 celah. haha! seriously, i must change this habit before i got too old to find my own stuff lar. Haha!
