Girly Birthday Card

I made a girly birthday card recently for a very special person. I've mailed it along with a gift, but I'm not sure if she has received the parcel yet. I hope she'll like it!

I really enjoyed playing around with my new border punch while making this card. I bought the EK Success dotted scallop edger punch, and I'm loving the effect. I think I'm going to buy more border punches soon!

I've been watching tutorial videos on YouTube, and I cannot wait to make some flowers for my cards. I'm also in the process of buying my very own Sizzix Big Shot die cut machine, yay!

Have you been crafting too?

  1. Such a sweet birthday card. Shabby chic is it?

Border punches are awesome! Especially the EK Success and Martha ones. Pricewise, not so awesome. ;p

Oh, I'm so jealous that you're getting a Big Shot! I received 2 embossing folders and 3 dies for my birthday, but no diecut machine. T_T

  2. Hi Ida!

Not sure if I was going for shabby chic theme, but more towards vintage+girly? Lol!

I agree with you; the border punches are so pricey, not to mention heavy to ship too. :( But they're awesome!

So cool that you got craft supplies as your bday pressies, though. I wish my friends are as thoughtful. *wishful thinking*

    Thanks for dropping by! :)

  3. Haha.. I probably twisted some arms to get them though. ;p

Oh yes, it does look vintage as well. I've not used any patterned papers on my cards. So sayang want to use!

Can't wait to see what you'll create once you have the Big Shot. *envy* ;p

  4. I know, right? I always wish I have duplicates of those pattern papers. :P

I'll be receiving the Big Shot sometime in June. Not sure if I want it mailed to Kch yet. It'll be difficult to carry once I go back to KL later. We'll see. :D
