I have been thinking of recording a video of me making my cards. For the time being, I hope this simple card tutorial will get you motivated to make your first card. This makes a 10.5 x 15 cm card.
You will need:
A base card (half of an A4 card stock, folded in half)
A pattern paper (cut into 10.5 x 15 cm)
A ribbon (I'm using a 3/8" satin ribbon, about 17.5 cm in length)
Some flowers
A brad
A sentiment of your choice (mine is "Hello" stamped in pink ink on cream coloured paper)
Double-sided tape
Scissors
Step 2: Peel the white paper off the tape and stick the ribbon onto your pattern paper. Fold off the ribbon extras and make sure it sticks onto the back of your pattern paper.
Step 4: Hold the brad through the flowers and then through the pattern paper.
You might want to use a cutter to cut a small slit on the pattern paper, where the flowers will be.

Step 5: Split the prongs of the brad open until it is flat.
It should secure the flowers onto the pattern paper.
Step 6: Use the double sided tape to stick your pattern paper that has been adorned with the ribbon and flowers onto the front of your base card.
Step 7: Stick the sentiment "Hello" next to the flowers. And you're done!

Step 7: Stick the sentiment "Hello" next to the flowers. And you're done!
You can also use stickers, vellum sentiments or printed sentiments if you don't have any stamping materials. This card is blank on the inside, but you can also decorate it if you want.
You can also use inexpensive wrapping paper or any kind of colourful paper you can find to replace the pattern paper. I used an origami paper for this one. :)
Happy crafting!
