Altered Tins in Pink, Blue & Black

As I promised last year before Christmas when I wrote about my vintage themed altered tin, here are the pics of the altered tins that I've made for C's (my) nieces. I couldn't show these altered tins here before Christmas because I didn't want to spoil the surprise for my nieces.

These are very easy to make. You can alter almost everything; tins, glass jars, boxes and even mobile phone housing/cases, if you like.

C told me that the girls love their altered tins. It makes me so happy to know that they love it. It really means so much when my handmade gifts are appreciated.

I hope it gives you some inspiration too! Happy crafting!

Altered Tin in Vintage Theme

I've altered some tins I bought during the weekend. I altered 4 tins altogether, but I cannot show 3 of them here because they're supposed to be Christmas surprises.

I altered this tin with vintage theme in mind. I'm not sure who I made this for, but I hope the recipient will like it. Perhaps it'll be one of my Christmas gifts. :)

I just love altering stuff. The tin is only RM5, and I used pattern paper and flowers from my cardmaking stash. It's really inexpensive and with a little bit of creativity, you can make it into a gift for a birthday, a graduation or even as a wedding favour.

I've also altered a wooden photo frame, but I'll share that one soon. What do you think of my altered tin?

Congrats to the first TWO commenters! :)
